I’m Karla Fearon, an Irish hairdresser, hair extension educator and mum of five, now based in Dubai. With 20 years in hairdressing and 17 years working with extensions, I bring practical, hands-on experience to everything I teach. After running my own salon in Ireland for 10 years, I moved to Dubai with my family in 2023. Today, my focus is on sharing my knowledge through Kapella Education and supplying professional hair extensions through Kapella Luxe.

I began developing my signature weft approach in 2009, which has evolved into the Kapella Weft Method. My education covers wefts, nanos, tapes and clip-ins, alongside consultation, blending, maintenance and aftercare—with natural hair health at the heart of every decision.

My belief is simple: more hair is not always the answer. Choosing the right method, using thoughtful placement and avoiding unnecessary weight can create beautiful, natural fullness that clients can comfortably wear and maintain. Through my online education, I help hairdressers build the skills, understanding and confidence to take this same considered approach with every client.
